This artistically titled prequel will transport us back in time to before the Kingsman film series’ The Secret Service (2015) and The Golden Circle (2017). We’ll meet a new crew of characters headed by Lord Voldemort himself, Ralph Fiennes.
We won’t see Taron “Eggsy” Egerton or his mentor, Colin “Harry” Firth on this prequel, but we’re expecting to see a comparable relationship in the form of the Duke of Oxford (Fiennes) and Conrad (Dickinson).

The release date for this version has been rescheduled to December 22, 2021.
The King’s Man is set to premiere on December 22, 2021.
For a long time, the film had been delayed. The King’s Man was originally supposed to come out in January 2019, but it was delayed until February 2020, then postponed again for September 2020, and then set for 2 March 2021. The film is scheduled to debut on 20 August 2021, but it has been rescheduled for a new date. The King’s Man was delayed one month to December 2021 in March.

The last three months have been plagued with problems, which has caused the release date to be pushed further and further back. Fans believe that Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox might be involved, while the latest delays were due to the epidemic.
What Is the Story Behind “The King’s Man”?
The King’s Man is an origin story to the Kingsman franchise, a disturbing tale of the ‘rise of the civilized.’ The first independent intelligence agency is established by the Duke of Oxford (Fiennes) to avert a global catastrophe that would kill millions of people.
The Duke (Hugh Grant) and his protege, a young soldier named Conrad (Dickinson), work together to prevent the world’s destruction planned by history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds. We’ll get a 1900s version of the Eggsy/Harry Hart partnership from them.
We may also anticipate seeing the famous locations from the 1900s, such as the Kingsman mansion and the organization’s Savile Row front, as well as more recent versions of those iconic locations.

Ralph Fiennes plays the Duke of Oxford, the show’s protagonist. The character of Conrad, the Duke’s apprentice, will be played by Dan Stevens.
Gemma Arterton will play Polly, who will also aid Conrad in the film.
The cast of the sequel includes Daniel Bruhl (as Felix Yusupov), Charles Dance (as Arthur), Rhys Ifans (Grigori Rasputin), and Matthew Goode (as Tristan).

An official teaser trailer was published on July 15, 2018, while the second official trailer was published on September 30, 2019.
