Finally, we get a first look at the long-awaited sequel.

The second film, also known as a follow-up to the 1996 original. The sequel, set to open on July 16, 2021, will star LeBron James, Don Cheadle, Cedric Joe, and the beloved cast of Looney Tunes in 3D. Yes, it’s true! In the sequel, our favorite cartoon characters will be given a 3D makeover. It will be the first time that the cartoon characters have been seen on-screen since 2003’s X2.

When asked if he would star in a sequel, James confirmed that he was approached 15 years ago. However, he wanted to focus all of his attention on basketball at the time, and he didn’t have any time for other diversions.

I had no intention of attempting anything so enormous. He added, “To this day I’m grateful for having the opportunity to compete in the Olympics, but it was an extra challenge because I wanted to focus on my game and give it everything I had. “I’m just really happy that it’s come full circle,’ he continued.

After years of turning down acting opportunities, James has lately decided to give it a go. He has acted in television and film projects, and his most notable roles have been in Trainwreck (2015) with Amy Schumer and Bill Hader, as well as The Infiltrator with Bryan Cranston.

In the new movie, James will play a ‘heightened version of himself’ alongside his son Dom, who is played by Cedric Joe. Don Cheadle stars as Al G Rhythm, a caped criminal who kidnaps Don in order to steal his followers and traps him and his father inside the Warner 3000 entertainment ‘Server-verse.’

To escape the virtual world and return to reality, James must combine all of the Looney Tunes for an all-star basketball game against the Goon Squad.

In the first Bugs Bunny movie, Michael Jordan was asked to assist the Looney Tunes in a basketball game against aliens who wanted to use them as attractions for their theme park.

“I was thinking about how I could top Michael Jordan’s performance in the movie,” he confesses.

Game on! In the film Space Jam, LeBron James leads the charge as the Looney Tunes’ superteam reunites for the wildest basketball game anyone has ever seen.
