Netflix has renewed Sex Education for a fourth season, so the show may go in that direction. Seasons one through three of the show premiered in January 2019,Ā and 2020, consecutively (despite the third season being delayed by a pandemic).
In April 2022, the Netflix UK Twitter account teased(opens in new tab) the following tweet about the future season of Sex Education: “Add more sexual content. Extra tension. Moorā¦dale. The next step is to? We can’t provide you with any more information than that. But, we can tell you to stay tuned for Season 4 updates.”

Maeve is finally able to pursue her lifelong goal of teaching at the illustrious Wallace Universithere she is paired with cult novelist Thomas Molloy. Otis, who is now neither an only child at home nor the only therapist on campus, is pining over her.
