Sex Education Season 4 Release Date

While Netflix has officially renewed Sex Education for a fourth season, no premiere date has yet been announced. The first half of 2023 seems to be the most likely time of arrival for us.

The show’s producers expressed interest in recruiting two trans actors for two new roles in a 2021 casting call for season 4, lending credence to the aforementioned estimate. Seeing as the call stated, “The project films April-November 2022,” and a recent production listing(opens in new tab) verified that filming began in July, it’s safe to assume that season 4 of Sex Education will not premiere this year.

Even if there is a limit to how long the pupils of Moordale High School may stay at the imaginary school until it becomes unreasonable, we are glad that the program will be returning.

Netflix has renewed Sex Education for a fourth season, so the show may go in that direction. Seasons one through three of the show premiered in January 2019,Ā and 2020, consecutively (despite the third season being delayed by a pandemic).

In April 2022, the Netflix UK Twitter account teased(opens in new tab) the following tweet about the future season of Sex Education: “Add more sexual content. Extra tension. Moorā€¦dale. The next step is to? We can’t provide you with any more information than that. But, we can tell you to stay tuned for Season 4 updates.”

We’ll be keeping a close ear out for any such official murmurings in the coming months.
