Samuel L. Jackson has stated that he believes the Marvel Cinematic Universe will construct a distinct set of The Avengers after Endgame’s conclusion.
Endgame’ is an outstanding film that paved the path for Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4 and further. By the time the film was over, heroes like Iron Man, Black Widow, and Captain America had either died or surrendered their title, establishing the foundation of the team.
This led to a lot of people wondering whether or not there would be a new Avengers team. In a recent interview, Samuel L. Jackson declared that he does not think Marvel should stop making Avengers films as long as there is always a bigger danger lurking on the horizon.
Every hero, every event, is returning to theaters. This is a message from the Avengers’ Endgame producers on behalf of director Taika Waititi and Taika’s co-writer Jemaine Clement.
In an interview with Cinemablend, he said, ‘No, I don’t believe that. I always believe that there’s space for every sort of narrative, and eventually, they’ll have to put another Avengers group together to combat whatever is next.
‘The next wave of change came in the form of Hydra’s Second Secret Empire, which may be best described as a force that unites with people and corporations around the world. Nick knew something was coming, just as he did during Captain Marvel when he discovered out there were other things out there that needed to be addressed.’
‘This is a transition,’ he added. ‘We’re going from one place to another because we have no idea what time or space we’re in, at least I don’t.’ We’ve jumped forward drastically. What happened? Where are we here?
So, in a nutshell, it’s difficult to predict what will come next because we don’t know. We do know that there will be something else, and we introduce the idea of a multiverse… So c’mon.’
“There will always be an Avengers team, even if they’re a new addition or have been there for a long time,” says Downey. It goes without saying that a new Avengers team would look very distinct following Avengers- Endgame.
The Avengers are no longer the same group; Falcon is now Captain America, and characters like Hulk and Hawkeye will likely only play a supporting role in the team. Other potential newcomers include Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man, Wasp, Doctor Strange, and Thor.
It all depends on whether Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as Thor in future Avengers installments. We still think that the team of The Avengers will return, no matter what.
