Season 6 brings new missions for the SWAT team.
As part of its fall 2022 schedule, CBS brought back SWAT for a sixth season. The crime drama TV show is based on the same-named 1975 show and 2003 movie.
Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson, a former Marine who grew up in Los Angeles and is now a SWAT sergeant, is played by Shemar Moore. In the past seasons, the team has been in California, but this season, they are going to a different country. To see the elite unit in Thailand, you won’t need a passport.
SWAT is a procedural show, which means that most episodes focus on a single case that is looked into and solved in an hour-long time slot. People don’t have to watch every episode to understand what’s going on, but if they don’t, they might miss important character-building moments. So far, this is what we know about season 6.
When Will the Sixth Season of SWAT Premiere?
Your plans for Friday night are now set. On October 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, CBS showed the first episode of the new season of SWAT.
After the sixth season of SWAT comes out on CBS, you can watch two other shows. At 9 p.m. ET/PT, a new show called Fire Country is on, and at 10 p.m. ET/PT, season 13 of Blue Bloods is on.
What is the Plot of SWAT Season 6?
The SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) team is always working on something new, from robberies to hijackings to terror attacks. This season, the crew will have to deal with high-stakes operations, but they will leave Los Angeles (at least for part of the season) and go to Thailand.
The end of season 5 was sad because it was Alonso’s last day on the squad. But not all of the tears were sad. Harrelson found out that his girlfriend, Nichelle, is pregnant, and he and Nichelle decided that Luca would be the godfather.
It makes sense that Nichelle’s pregnancy will play a role in season 6, but we don’t know how much or if she’ll go to Thailand.

Who is in the Season 6 Cast of SWAT?
Lina Esco, who played Christina “Chris” Alonso for five seasons, said she was leaving SWAT just days after the end of the fifth season.
Except for Esco, the rest of the main characters should be back for season 6:
