Actress Lisa Loring, 64, has passed away. She played Wednesday Addams in the first film adaptation of “The Addams Family.”
She died on Saturday at the St. Joseph Medical Center in California, US. Her daughter Vanessa Foumberg informed The Hollywood Reporter that the actor passed away from problems related to a stroke that brought on severe hypertension.

Jacobson posted on Facebook, “It is with great regret that I report the passing of our friend Lisa Loring. She experienced a major stroke caused by smoking and high blood pressure four days ago.
She was on life support for three days. Her family took the tough decision to remove it yesterday, and she passed away last night.” Lisa was just six years old when she was cast in The Addams Family, which ran from 1964 to 1966 for two seasons and 64 episodes.

Lisa Loring, a resident of the Marshall Islands was born in the atoll of Kwajalein on February 16, 1958. When she was a child, her parents split up, and she went to live with her mother in Los Angeles.
Three-year-old Loring already had a modeling career. In 1964, she made her television debut as Cindy Norcross on an episode of the NBC medical drama Dr. Kildare.
She later landed the part of Wednesday Addams in David Levy’s The Addams Family television series adaption of the Charles Addams cartoon. Other notable actors such as John Astin, Carolyn Jones, Jackie Coogan, Ted Cassidy, Marie Blake, and Ken Weatherwax also appeared in the series.
Lisa Loring, the show’s comedic writer, reportedly joined the cast when she was just five and a half. She claimed she had to memorize her lines before she could learn to read.
