The American heavy metal band Motley Crue split up in 2015 after being together for 34 years. A documentary and a few songs about the band were released shortly before the Pandemic, sparking rumors that the members are getting back together.
For the duration of the lockdown, the million-dollar question among Motley Crue fans was, “Is Motley Crue Still Together?” Find out below if Motley Crue is still together.
About “Motley Crue”
Motley Crüe is an American heavy metal band that came together in 1981 in Hollywood, California. Nikki Sixx, who plays bass, Tommy Lee, who plays drums, Mick Mars, who plays lead guitar, and Vince Neil, who sings lead, formed the band. Around the world, Motley Crüe has sold more than 100 million albums.
They also have seven platinum or multi-platinum certifications, nine Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 chart (including 1989’s Dr. Feelgood, which was Motley Crüe’s only album to reach number one), twenty-two Top 40 mainstream rock hits, and six Top 20 pop singles. During the 1990s and 2000s, the band went through a few short-term lineup changes.

More recently, in 2022, guitarist Mick Mars said that he would no longer tour with the band. John 5, who had played with Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie, took his place on live duties.

Nikki Sixx of the notorious hair metal band Motley Crue has stated that the band will return to Australia for the first time since their… last… tour in May of 2015.
Early this morning, the icon disclosed in a tweet:
Gonna be a fun year for THE us touring some more US shows-Latin America-Europe UK-Japan and Australia——— @MotleyCrue

While no dates have been announced, it is safe to assume that stadiums and football field-sized venues will be utilized for their return – which should also feature Def Leppard, with whom they have been playing these World Tour shows, and possibly another special guest with Alice Cooper, who has joined the two leading bands on their first US 2023 tours announced on December 9th.
Joan Jett and Poison have also altered their touring schedules, so who knows what kind of performance we’ll witness in Australia. This is purely conjecture, therefore do not cite me on the final lineup.
