In the gaming world, he created in his prior existence, a 29-year old gaming programmer died in his sleep and was reborn as a 15-year old warrior.
The animated version of Hiro Anana’s light novel series “Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody” first aired on television three years ago. It’s a collaboration between Silver Link and Studio Colorido. It’s the first feature-length anime original story by the same team that created ‘Kokoro Connect.’
If you’re new to isekai stories, whether in the form of manga or anime, Death March will be something special. However, if you’re like us, this series will most likely appear to be no more than what has been used in the previous series. It’s a mindset in which anything you encounter for the first time is already an old hat.
Despite the fact that The Defenders is over, if you’re interested in seeing whether there will be a sequel to the first season, we’d be delighted to share it with you here.
What’s The Series’ Storyline?
The web novel and manga and anime series Death March began as a web novel that was first released on March 3, 2013, and has been adapted into both. The manga began in December 2014 and the anime is set to premiere on Crunchyroll in early 2018.
The anime series is created by Shin Onuma and Silver Link, with animation handled by Connect. It aired for 12 episodes between January 11 and March 29, 2018, on AT-X.
The tale of Death March begins with Ichiro Suzuki, a 29-year-old gaming programmer who was supposed to address several technological problems in two MMORPGs for the firm he worked for before they were launched. To fix the problem, he was forced to work over the weekend. Unfortunately, his job’s stress took a huge toll on his body, causing it to weaken until he died in his sleep.
He awoke in a different world that was almost identical to the fantasy RPG games he’d been developing in his previous realm. In the New World, he now goes by the name of Satou Pendragon, which is also his beta testing nickname in the old world.
Season 1 Recap (Extremely Major Spoilers Ahead!)
It’s at the game’s start menu from the instant Suzuki resumes his existence in the game that he created in his previous life. He was surprised to find that the entire time he’d been talking about himself in the third person, his younger brother had been standing right behind him. While he was murdering the lizards, he slew a god, improving his statistics considerably.
In Chapter 10, Suzuki realizes how serious the problem is and sets out to accomplish his goal in the game so he may find his way out. He is now, with a plethora of the most cutting-edge weapons and magical abilities in his arsenal, ready to begin his trek. During his travels, he meets and befriends a variety of companions including Zina Marientail, Pochi, Liza, Tama, Arisa, and Lulu.
When Will Season Two of Daredevil Be Available?
As of now, there has been no word on a second season renewal. However, because there have been no official announcements regarding the series’ cancellation, this does not necessarily indicate that it has been canceled.
That’s because Silver Link, Connect, and other organizations involved in the production of the series have yet to provide an update on its progress. However, this does not guarantee that the series will never return.
Despite the fact that the tale revolves around a nearly depleted category in isekai, the series has received positive feedback from fans and some critics both in Japan and abroad. The reason for that is that the anime studio and directors would not consider canceling anything with high demand like Death March.
There’s also the option that the studio may be planning to continue the tale at a later date since the Season 1 finale ended on a major cliffhanger. This is what still gives fans of the original season hope for the next one. Despite the fact that we have yet to hear anything official, there is still hope in the community that this series will continue.
