It’s unclear if Bailey (McPhee) won the singing competition she entered, pulled out of, and then competed in with her new family in the finale. If they win, Bailey may have to decide whether to accept the competition’s reward and go on tour to follow her musical goals, or remain home with the kids she’s grown to love.
If the judges liked Bailey and the kids’ performance, they may go on tour as a family band, like the Von Traps. Summer (Janet Varney) was wary of Bailey and Beau’s bonding via their shared love of Beau’s kids—and whatever else, their exceedingly heart-eyes-y shared stare at the performance indicated.
Season two of Country Comfort can only hope for more musical episode names, more Leann Rimes cameos (which shouldn’t be hard considering she’s married to the show’s star), and no more mention of Bailey’s ex-boyfriend Boone (Eric Balfour).
