Season 2 of ‘Blood Lad’ Is Upon Us.

Although the first half of the series was not as popular as ‘Yagate Kimi Ni Naru,’ it is still reasonable to infer that ‘Blood Lad’ performed well and earned high ratings overall, thus providing another incentive for producers to produce a sequel.

Buraddo Raddo is one of that anime television shows that have fans waiting even longer than usual, despite being one of the finest in its field. The dark comedy fantasy anime television series is based on a manga by the same name and is created and written by Yuuki Kodama.

The manga first debuted on September 4, 2009, and the series ran for 17 volumes until September 3, 2016. The anime was aired for the first time on July 8, 2013, and became a huge hit. The manga was adapted into an anime television series soon after, and season 1 of Blood Lad debuted on July 8, 2013.

After the first season, the series was an overwhelming success, and a full video animation (OVA) episode was produced on December 4, 2013. It prompted audiences to request for season 2.

Fans are anxiously awaiting the return of Blood Lad, and here’s what we know about whether or not there will be a second season.

Is There a Chance for Season 2 of Blood Lad to Occur?

The series began on July 8, 2013, and concluded on September 9 of the same year. Season 1 concluded with an OVA episode called “Blood Lad- Wagahai wa Neko de wa Nai,” which aired on December 3, 2013. Fans have not given up hope for the second season, despite the fact that they know it takes at least five years and has already been eight years since it debuted.

However, no matter how slim the chances of a second season appear, there are a few things we should consider to preserve hope for its renewal. The first point is that the original manga series consists of seventeen volumes with 85 chapters. The anime, on the other hand, only used ten episodes with an OVA.

Clearly, there’s enough material for a television adaptation. Unfortunately, the manga was concluded in December of 2016. Even if that happens, we may yet hope for Brain’s Base to order another season of the program. The second option is to consider how well the first season did in terms of numbers.

The anime television series received a 7.3/10 rating on MyAnimeList and a 7.1/10 rating on IMDb, for a total score of 7.3/10. It wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to think that ‘Blood Lad’ had a successful run and scored highly overall, providing yet another incentive for producers to consider producing a sequel.

What’s the Story With ‘Blood Lad’?”

For those who have not yet seen the first season of Blood Lad, it’s about the strange supernatural world in which demons dwell, and the plot revolves around Staz Charlie Blood, a Vampire. Staz is not your typical bloodsucking vampire, like his forebears, who lives a conventional ‘Otaku’ lifestyle.

In Japanese, it means someone who is preoccupied with Anime, Manga, and hi-tech products. Staz is the leader of one of the factions, which are various demon organizations in this dimension. Staz was ecstatic when he learned that a human being had unwittingly entered their world through a portal, prompting him to search for her.

They don’t encounter one another for long, but they do make contact. Staz was constantly on the lookout for foes. However, it was difficult for a person to live in a world of vampires, and so Fuyumi is eaten by a carnivorous plant and becomes a Ghost.

This was something that shattered Staz’s emotions, and so he has taken it upon himself to resurrect her. After that, Staz and Fuyumi enter the human world, where she begins to fade away. To preserve her, Staz makes her drink his blood, and she transforms into a half-vampire.
